Elementary (14 students) and 1 B Elementary (15 students). Total 29 students.
3.JUSTIFICACIÓN (how comes the need for this activity):
arises as a motivating activity to deepen student learning in the content of the birds and their characteristics. It was thought that students might experience in a more practical content, through the observation of structures of birds or a copy, it was requested to collaborate with the ESO Science teacher with the intention to perform some activity in the Science Lab. GLOBE
This activity is now being studied a set of correct learning content which will be of great importance in understanding the environmental content from the point of view of environmental education, related to the care and protection of birds in our environment. GLOBE
makers also decide to hire older students as "official laboratory" because it is another methodological guidelines proposed in the GLOBE Project. This will choose 4 students from 3 º ESO Diversification who are trained to act as such. In turn they are recipients of the same activity.
4.OBJETIVOS (those who want to achieve with this activity):
• Differentiate among domestic poultry and wild birds.
• Know the main features of the birds.
• Identify the process of incubation.
• Understand the importance of caring and respect for birds and their environment.
• Visit and use a Science Lab.
• Promote, in students of 3 º ESO diversification, autonomy and self-confidence.
5.CONTENIDOS (major content to work or strengthen):
• domestic birds and wild birds.
• The characteristics of birds and their parts:
-Skeleton.
-Types of pens.
-legged types.
-Playing Oviparous.
-types of behavior (flight, song, habitat, etc.).
• The incubation process.
• Importance of birds in our environment:
"Some eat fruit, promoting seed dispersal.
"Some feed on insects and other animals can become pests.
"They are eaten by other animals, to other birds.
• Science Lab. Laboratory Standards.
