MOVING EARTH-MOON

2 º A (19 students) and 2 º B (19 students). Total 38 students.

3.JUSTIFICACIÓN (how comes the need for this activity):
proposed activity to the great curiosity and desire to know the children on Earth, their movements, what's hot, why are there days and nights, why not there is life on other planets, etc.
The difficulty of understanding that is usually associated with static models that explain the dynamic processes in textbooks lead us to think in new technologies or other methods for explanation.
also seen the success of a similar exercise with the students of Primary 3 of thought that Secondary 2 students Primary may experience a similar activity, through lighting effects, the rotation and translation of the Earth so as to better understand the origin of day and night and seasons in a more practical. It asked for cooperation to the ESO Science faculty with the intent to perform some activity in the Science Lab. GLOBE
This activity is, as we study a set of correct learning content which will be of great importance in the understanding of environmental content as the seasons and differences of solar radiation in different parts of our planet, which will lead different climates.

4.OBJETIVOS (those who want to achieve with this activity):
• Understand how to rise the day and night from rotation of the Earth.
• Understand how the seasons arise from translational motion of the Earth.
• Know the position of Earth in space from the Sun
• Understand why the moon is at its various stages.
• Show a respectful attitude towards knowledge and science.
• Visit and use a Science Lab.

5.CONTENIDOS (major content to work or strengthen):
• Positioning of the Earth in space from the Sun
• Introduction to the axis of rotation and tilt.
• Earth movements: rotation and translation.
• Consequences of the movements of the Earth: day / night and seasons.
• Phases of the moon.
• Science Lab. Laboratory Standards.

6.METODOLOGÍA (how to work the contents):
• Active dialogue with its central and guided observation of students. • Motivation continuous
arousing curiosity and reflection. • Motivation involved

• Total Activity Time: 45 minutes each group.
